Architecture

Born out of a visionary insight into the new needs of business in the 1980s, Broadgate is now home to an eclectic mix of prestigious buildings. As the global business arena constantly changes, Broadgate keeps adapting to provide for the needs of some of the world’s biggest corporations.

Surrounded by open spaces and art, with pleasant pedestrian routes interweaving throughout, the 16 separate buildings have their own unique character. With ground-breaking technology and cutting edge design, each part of Broadgate has been built in phases. However, each individual element of Broadgate contributes to a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts - a dynamic destination that evolves whilst keeping its sense of unity.

“Broadgate offers a world class destination at the heart of the City of London. Ahead of its time in the 1980s, it continues to evolve to anticipate the needs of businesses, attracting some of the world’s top financial institutions and professional practices, bringing investment into the UK and supporting jobs in London.”

Sir Edward Lister
The Mayor of London's Chief of Staff and Deputy Mayor for Planning
