This spring as part of our Urban Eden season, we’re creating three oases of green in the city where you can recharge and reboot from 10th April to 4th June.
Deliciously Ella Garden at Exchange Square
This pop-up is the first of its kind: a beautiful British market garden that will play home to an on-site Deliciously Ella deli (where you can create your own salads) with dining area; pick-your-own seasonal produce including fresh herbs, edible flowers and vegetables that reflect Ella’s food philosophy of ‘honest, simple and natural ingredients’ as well as one-off supper clubs and masterclasses from Ella herself. Find out more about Ella here.
Japanese Bamboo Garden at Broadgate Plaza
Gardens play a huge role in traditional Japanese culture: from giving aesthetic pleasure to places for Buddhist meditation and contemplation. Inspired by this, striking pillars of bamboo will be popping up between Broadgate Tower and 201 Bishopsgate providing an urban retreat from the noise and hectic pace of everyday life. The spot will be playing host to a variety of yoga classes including Hatha Yoga and Qigong. We’ll even be offering free head and shoulder massages for visitors - meaning you have no excuse not to unwind and unplug for even 10 minutes a day.
Tulip Patchwork Garden at Finsbury Avenue Square
Inspired by the tulip gardens of the Netherlands, the Tulip Patchwork Garden is beautiful vibrant pattern designed to lift the spirits, enrich your day and boost your greenfingers. Designed by Garden Club London landscape design studio (led by RHS Gold medal winning garden designer Tony Woods), the display of tulip and spring bulbs will provide a serene haven for visitors to relax in and will also be home to a series of exciting interactive events.
From inspiring art, international food markets and health and wellbeing-boosting events, Urban Eden will be a season to remember. Find all the details here.
