The HEMYCA store is open Monday to Saturday from 10am-8pm in Broadgate Circle (EC2A 2QS). Please note the store will close at 1pm on Friday 24 July. Launched in 2009, HEMYCA is a luxury womenswear label based in London by designers Helen Clinch and Myra Nigris who met whilst studying at the prestigious London College of Fashion. Through a shared passion and devotion to the art of luxury fashion design, as well as a tradition passed down by both families, with globally recognized label synonymous with luxury and quality. HEMYCA has dressed celebrities including Maggie Grace, Dame Kelly Holmes, Alicia Keys, Donna Air and Olivia Colman.
Each week HEMYCA will host free-to-attend lunchtime seminars with fashion and design industry experts on a number of themes.
Week 1: Innovation

At just 25 years-old Sam Ball became Creative Director at Tribal DDB London, overhauling advertising for brands including Volkswagen and The Guardian. Founding partner of Lean Mean Fighting Machine, he has run global social accounts for Unilever and TIGI’s Bedhead brands, and won a bundle of awards for his digital work from One Show, D&AD, and the Webbies. He now works for M&C Saatchi as Creative Director.
Currently Artistic Director of HEMYCA, Che Frantz is a multidisciplinary artist who works at the forefront of emerging technologies to realize HEMYCA’s commitment to innovation and immersive experiences within digital fashion. Che is a Fine Artist, Set Designer, Artistic Director, Technologist, Fashion Film Director and Producer. He studied at Central Saint Martins and Camberwell College of Art before attending Goldsmiths where he completed 2 further MAs and an MPhil.
Week 2: Education

Week 3: Style

HEMYCA share insights into what it is like to be part of this exclusive event and will help discover the nuances of style that can be found at an event like London Fashion Week.
Mark Woolley is an award winning hair stylist, international creative director and entrepreneur behind the exclusive Electric Hair brand encompassing six bespoke salons in key cities throughout the UK, a professional award winning product range, the Electric Studio and the Electric Education Academy.
Having worked in the Fashion industry for over a decade, Sophie Ferguson Jones has garnered a wealth of experience working across luxury brands, magazines and online titles in both Europe and North America. Sophie first started her career in public relations at Gucci, before working for US Vogue and then going on to be a member of the team that launched Grazia, which grew to become the number one weekly women’s title in the UK.
