Summer Live

Our packed summer programme brings you all the live sporting action on the big screen in Exchange Square, free-to-watch film seasons and a whole host of dance, music, theatre and street art performances across Broadgate. So pull up a deckchair on your lunch break or meet with colleagues and friends after work and enjoy!

The big screen is on Monday to Friday from 9am till late in Exchange Square. This year’s highlights include:

  • Aegon Championships 2015 (Queens Club Tennis) from 15-19 June
  • Wimbledon 2015 from 29 June-10 July
  • Tour De France from 14-24 July
  • Cricket - 2015 Ashes series from 29 July-10 August
  • Rugby World Cup from 18 September-30 October
  • Iconic film showings (dates TBC)


Surrounded by restaurants, cafes, bars and some of the capital’s best-loved StreetDots traders, Exchange Square (EC2A 2BQ) is the best place in the City to celebrate a summer of sporting success or enjoy a movie.

Please note: Only food and beverages purchased in Exchange Square can be consumed at our Summer Live screenings. Do not bring any musical instruments, including drums and horns to the event. The screen schedule is subject to change.

Summer Live events

Ping! in the City

Beat your colleagues in our knock-out table tennis tournaments or leaderboard challenges on Wednesday 8 July in Finsbury Avenue Square. There's everything to play for with prizes up for grabs and the title of 'The City's Top Table Tennis Player'. Tournaments and challenges take place from 12.30-2pm and 5.45-7pm with Free Play inbetween.

HEMYCA Live 

From Monday 6th to Friday 24th July, 10am-8pm explore HEMYCA’s first pop-up interactive concept store in Broadgate Circle. Step inside to discover the full HEMYCA journey from inspiration to construction. See garments come to life through clever projection techniques and watch the craftsmanship and tailoring skills of the team as they work on made-to-order bespoke garments live – a must see for all fashion, design, and digital innovation enthusiasts.

The Seven Ages of Man by Tom Phillips RA

See our new sports inspired art installation by Royal Academician, Tom Phillips, in 201 Bishopsgate Reception till the end of summer. We are delighted to host this piece by Tom Phillips during our Summer Live season, which, having commented in writings “I have measured out my life in Wimbledons”, marks the passage of time and represents various stages of his life.

City of London Festival 

The City’s annual arts festival returns to Broadgate for a fantastic array of performances from Monday 22 June to Friday 3 July in Broadgate Circle and Finsbury Avenue Square. From aerial acrobatics and circus acts to music and dance, there’s plenty to keep you entertained on your lunch breaks. See the line up here.
