Looking for a new challenge? Are you brave enough to abseil one of the tallest buildings in London?
Three charities are looking for volunteers to take on the 33-storey high Broadgate Tower on Friday 16th, Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th September this weekend. (And if you haven't got a head for heights, come along and show your support for our brave volunteers and help to raise much-needed funds for three incredible charities).
1. LandAid – 9am on Friday 16th September
Test your strength, speed and nerves of steel this September as the London TowerAthlon returns to the Broadgate Tower. For a third year, LandAid and the Worshipful Company of Chartered Surveyors bring you an assault course with a difference.
In teams of three you'll take on a gruelling 10-minute cycle sprint, a fierce 977-stair climb and a 500-foot abseil and help to raise money for new accommodation in the City of London for 146 young people who are homeless or at risk of becoming so.

LandAid works to improve the lives of children and young people in the UK who experience disadvantage due to their economic or social circumstances. As a charitable foundation supported by the property industry, LandAid finds ways to apply the generosity and expertise of the industry to this cause.
