The City’s annual arts festival returns to Broadgate on Monday 22 June for a fantastic array of performances over two weeks.

From aerial acrobatics, circus acts, trampolining, theatre and dance to jazz and folk music, there’s plenty to keep you entertained on your lunch breaks. We’re also hosting two City of London Street Guitars – one in Broadgate Circle and one in Finsbury Avenue Square from 22 June to 10 July. Unleash your inner rock star or soulful self – we invite you to take a seat, stand, jig, dance and strum to your heart’s content.

Broadgate Circle

We have an electric line up for London’s latest dining hub from Monday 22 to Saturday 27 June. Pull up a deckchair or eat al-fresco on the terraces at one of Broadgate Circle’s restaurants.

Monday 22 June

Project Vee: Circus Geeks + Pangottic - performing at 12:30pm and 1:45pm
Roulette wheel meets juggling: danger, skill and unpredictable moments. Project Vee is a nod to a Soviet era circus act, remixed for the 21st century.

Tuesday 23 June

Chimeras: Amontonados Por Azar - performing at 12:30pm
Enjoy a thrilling lunch break with this circus company who join together circus, theatre, and Argentinian dance to push cultural boundaries to new heights – literally!

Wednesday 24 June

Fiddler on the Rope: Kwabana Lindsay - performing at 12:30pm and 1:30pm
Versatile old-school entertainer Kwabana Lindsay has been playing the fiddle on the slackrope for decades. Along with circus skills and stunts.

Cajun Rooster Trio - performing from 5:30pm
Blues, jazz, folk, Cajun and Zydeco music. They've headlined festivals all over Europe and they're bound to get you dancing.

Thursday 25 June

Planetary: Pif-Paf Theatre Company - performing at 12:30pm and 1:45pm
Pif-Paf blend circus, theatre and sculpture to create this enthralling piece of aerial theatre in which three characters are attempting to unlock the secrets of a 4 metre combination lock forged from 80 metres of metal pipe.

Don Kipper - performing at 5:30pm
Don Kipper is a London-based ensemble dedicated to interpreting music of Eastern origin. They also compose originial pieces which fuse different styles and genres, including Klezmer and Gypsy Jazz.

Friday 26 June

Miss Dolly – performing at 12.30pm
Four mysterious characters from faraway lands join together in this witty aerial circus show. Watch as they rock, fly, catch and drop death-defying feats with poetic imagery.

Saturday 27 June

BE-LOVED: Scarabeus Aerial Theatre - performing at 12:30pm and 1:30pm
A stunning outdoor aerial production inspired by Angela Carter's short story The Tiger's Bride, a re-imagining of the Beauty and the Beast fairytale.

Finsbury Avenue Square

From 29 June to Friday 3 July, pull up a deckchair and take in some comedy, dance, drama and acrobatics during your lunch break.

Monday 29 June

Anyday: Max Calaf Sevé - performing at 12:30pm
Performing since 2007, Max specialises in bringing techniques from backgrounds such as theatre and dance to the platform of the trampoline.

Tuesday 30 June

Full Stop: Scribbled Thought - performing at 12:30pm
This is a bus shelter where anything can happen: queues become wrestling matches, little old ladies spark international incidents and yummy mummies fight to the death. This anarchic show takes you through a hilarious, actionpacked 24 hours in 24 minutes.

Wednesday 1 July

LEAP: Strong Lady Productions - performing at 12:30pm
This show flips gender norms upsidedown. Here you’ll see a strong lady at the base of these lifts and balances as her partner Reuben leaps, flies and eventually balances 15 feet in the air.

Thursday 2 July

Project Vee: Circus Geek + PanGottic - performing at 12:30pm and 1:45pm

Bar Story: Etta Ermini Dance Theatre - performing at 12:30pm and 1:45pm
Expect high-energy dancing and drama as well as insightful observation, humour and wit in this lively and entertaining take on social anxiety and extreme behaviour.
