Colour contouring arrives at Broadgate

Once only associated with makeup, Charles Worthington’s new contouring service promises to change the shape of your face using the latest professional colouring techniques.

Forget last year’s ombre and dip dye trend, 2015 sees the arrival of clever hair colouring using professional techniques of colour paint on and micro-lights. The experts at Charles Worthington’s Broadgate Salon will create a truly bespoke colour service using their iconic colour fan to create your colour prescription. Based on your skin tone you’ll receive a unique mix of light and dark tones to contour your face shape.

Traditionally, contouring is used to shape an area of the face and enhance your facial structure using makeup. However, Marc Trinder, Art Team Director at Charles Worthington has explored using light and dark tones which will create shadows and depth. This can be applied in specific areas to completely alter either an entire face shape or specific areas.

This colour service was first developed on rising actress and model Gala Gordon,of whom Principal Stylist Mathew Soobroy was tasked with using natural colour to contour her face. Mathew used super-fine highlights around her forehead and hairline combined with a natural colour gloss for shine and Gala couldn’t be happier with her ‘contoured’ glossy brown locks.

If you want to give yourself healthier, glossier hair and introduce tone and depth, contact the team at Charles Worthington’s Broadgate Salon. This new colour service is available from only £85 with their Colour Experts.
