Meet the best new Liverpool Street restaurants

East London is famous for its diverse, seriously good dining scene but the arrival of Claw, Wolf and Yolk at Finsbury Avenue Square (where they’ll be joining such nearby acclaimed names as Franco Manca, Yauatcha, HOP Vietnamese and Gaucho) is upping the ante. 

Claw and Yolk made their names on the pop-up scene with Claw serving seriously good sustainable British seafood and Yolk turning Eggs Benedict into an art form. Meanwhile, Wolf’s first restaurant based in Stoke Newington has become a neighbourhood gem thanks to its unbelievably good fresh pasta (try the little dumpling of gnudi - please!).

Uniting all three is their dedication to seasonal, local produce and carefully tailored menus done to perfection - with an emphasis on breakfast and lunch. Post-5pm Wolf will be serving plates of nibbles, including Fritto Misto with black garlic mayo, baked Fontina cheese and other aperitivo alongside botanical cocktails. Click here to discover each of their personalities and menus. 

And from Monday 12th to Friday 16th June, the restaurants will be joined by the Bordeaux Butterfly Bar pop-up which will be serving aromatic whites, refreshing rosés, sparkling Crémants and soft, more fruit-forward reds by the glass and carafe as well as hosting tasting flights, menu pairing with Claw, Wolf and Yolk and bringing their own boules piste.
