At Broadgate, our social impact focus is on access to opportunities. Together with our customers, suppliers and community partners, we are using our space and resources to mutual benefit – increasing local access to opportunities at Broadgate through a targeted focus on skills, training and employment.

Creating Thriving Places

Since 2021, over 3,800+ local people have benefited from our Broadgate Community programme.  
 
Over £3m of affordable workspace, community and arts space has been provided at Broadgate since 2022.  
 
£100,000+ Broadgate Community Fund with customers and local partners, positively impacting over 1,100 local people in 2023.

Broadgate Connect

Since 2012, over 500 diverse local jobseekers have been supported into work through our Broadgate Connect employment and training partnership with ELBA and our customers.

Broadgate Community Fund

The Broadgate Community Fund is a unique collaboration between Broadgate  and the businesses based on campus, created to support life-changing community activities. 

The first two rounds of fundraising both exceeded the £100,000 target, the money raised has been allocated to local organisations tackling issues such as mental and physical wellbeing of children, older people and homelessness. Round three is now open for pledges.

Supporting the National Literacy Trust

Each year, Broadgate welcomes children from local primary schools to the campus as part of the Young Readers Programme, which sees a series of interactive sessions including storytelling, all aimed to help them fall in love with reading. Since 2016, over 1,800 children have participated, improving literacy skills and life chances.
