A vegan feast with Comptoir Libanais
Who said veganuary had to be dull? This feast of flavours features a mezze of red pepper hummus, and quinoa tabbouleh, followed by a choice of delicious mains (the aubergine tagine is definitely worth a taste), and a guilt-free desert of coconut mouhalabia and mixed dried fruits, all for just £12.95.
Or maybe, Itsu?
Did you know that 40% of Itsu's range is now vegan? In addition to the already exstensive range of meat and dairy free sushi, salad and hot food options, they're introducing two brand new dishes to entice you this January. The first is their winter wonton and green seasonal soup, two deliciously steamed veg gyoza, fibre rich brown rice, seasonal greens and kombu seawead, all served up in a pot of warming miso soup. If you're a fan of their bento boxes, look no further than the 'loosing your vegan'ity', a box of protein rich smoked tofu steak (great if you're hitting the gym) which lays on bed of pickled cabbage, red ginger, steamed broccoli lovingly covered in their teriyaki sauce. Yum.
