Find your Zen using delicious food

Discover the art of 'mindful eating' at a brand-new lunchtime event in The Space | 3FA, held by our professional mediation instructor Natasha.

How often do you eat lunch at your desk or whilst staring at your phone? This session will teach you how you can make the most of your lunch break by learning to 'eat more mindfully'. You will experience a mindfulness meditation practice whilst enjoying a beautifully prepared, healthy lunch. Focusing on taste, 'mindful eating' is being aware of and savouring your food, which can help you enjoy the simple things in life more.

This is a great way for those who wish they could be more mindful, but often struggle to dedicate time out of busy schedules to practice meditation. It can be done anywhere, anytime, whilst easting and is a great way to find your Zen, even if you struggle to switch off. Practicing mindfulness is proven to reduce stress, support mental health and increase productiveness. After the session you will feel relaxed, yet energised for the afternoon ahead - and of course, leave feeling full of healthy, fuelling food!

Lunch will be provided by Broadgate and includes: Grilled chicken, couscous and feta cheese salads, wrap platters, mozzarella, tomato and basil skewers, humus and crudites and fruit skewers. There will also be a selection of spa waters and fruit teas available.

The session will be delivered by Natasha Malik. Natasha has been meditating and practising mindfulness regularly since 2001. She is highly trained and qualified to teach a range of practices and has taught meditation workshops in a number of settings including rehabilitation centres and a weekly session for staff at Yahoo HQ.

Please note this event is open exclusively to those who work in our buildings at Broadgate only.
