This autumn, London Design Festival is taking over the city. From Broadgate’s fun pop-up Alphabet at Finsbury Avenue Square to Paddington Central’s Design Destination, the season is all about discovering new art and design talent, celebrating legendary names and opening up a world of discovery.
We’re incredibly excited to host a new free exhibition from Manchester-based artist, Elisa Artesero. From Monday 10 September-Friday 26 October, Building Text will be taking inspiration from the surrounding buildings to Broadgate to explore the form and structure of text. See below to discover where to see this incredible exhibition or take a tour of it with our art curator, Rosie Glenn, here.
Exchange House atrium
Clearly visible from the surrounding walkways, Maze Of Dreams, is a structural representation of words and poetry, is presented within Exchange House’s atrium space.
Across the road, the theme of buildings and interiors takes the lead with a series of colourful Perspex text sculptures and laser-cut artworks inspired by the shapes and details of the surrounding architecture.
The reception lobby is showcasing Elisa’s scale-model for Maze of Dreams while, creating a Project Space, L1 and L2 are displaying further poetic artworks, working models, development sketches and photography.
Viewings are available 10am-4pm each weekday. To ensure ease of access on arrival please confirm your visit by email to Broadgate's art curator Rosie Glenn (firstname.lastname@example.org).
