The Sessions at Home: Neon Naked Drawing

Experience a colour-inspired, modern take on life drawing with Neon Naked this September to produce vibrant and bold designs from living sculptures covered in UV light and reactive body paints and handcrafted flamboyant accessories.

Join this exploratory life drawing class, which welcomes expression and creativity, introducing use of psychedelic neon colours whilst moving away from the perfectionist traditional teaching of life drawing. In this two-hour class held virtually through Zoom, you'll use a number of different image-making techniques from continuous lines to pointillism, whilst the energetic team encourage you to think outside the box to produce beautifully bright, unique art.

The experience, as described by TimeOut:

'It might look like a Full Moon party, but this evening of sketching is an experiment in light, colour and texture. The models become ‘living sculptures’ covered in UV lights and reactive body paints. Trippy.'

If you own neon paints - great! But don't worry if not, we recommend Great Art or Cass Art stores in London to pick up supplies. Other mediums which also work well are:

  • Pastels
  • Chalk
  • Coloured pencils and chunky pens
  • Highlighters and inks

Or go digital and draw on iPads with apps such as:

Don't miss out.

Date: 1 September, 6-8pm
Where: via Zoom
