The Sessions: mental health workshops

Following on from our successful series with Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest, The Sessions at The Space | 3FA are hosting three essential lunchtime workshops about mental health in the workplace with experts from the charity.

Covering everything from managing mental health issues to maintaining wellbeing, the workshops are free to occupiers at Broadgate. Book your spot and discover a new way of thinking and tackling mental health issues in 2020.

Anxiety in the workplace

This hour-long session will give tips on how to manage anxiety in the workplace. Participants will have an increased understanding about mental health and wellbeing in the workplace and common mental health problems. This session covers the physical and emotional impact of anxiety and how it can affect work, and provides ways to best keep anxiety to a manageable level.
 
The aims and objectives of the course
Participants who attend this course will have:

  • A wider understanding of mental health and wellbeing in the workplace
  • Improved knowledge of common mental health problems, including stress, anxiety and depression
  • Ways to manage anxiety and reduce its impact in the workplace

This hour-long training session on managing stress includes:

  • Mental health and wellbeing
  • What is anxiety?
  • Ways to manage anxiety levels at work
  • How to prevent yourself from getting anxious
  • How to support a colleague who is experiencing anxiety or mental ill health
  • How to manage your everyday wellbeing
