What we need from you

We know you’re busy, so we’ve designed a condensed programme into short bursts, so that they can fit around busy schedules. See below for our proposed plan of key dates, including what is mandatory and what is flexible:

Tuesday 2 July
o    Stage 1: Performance Test
o    90 minute pre-evaluation test with Dr. Rahman at 3FA
o    Mandatory, ideally between 10am - 6pm

Friday 5 July
o    Stage 2: Personalised Plan 
o    60 minute nutritional consultation with Nurdin at 3FA
o    Mandatory, ideally between 10am - 6pm

Monday 8 – Thursday 18 July
o    Stage 3: Experiment Live 
o    Mandatory period, but one-on-one check-in days/ times with Nurdin are flexible 

Monday 22 July 
o    Stage 4: Performance Review
o    90 minute post-evaluation test with Dr. Rahman at 3FA
o    Mandatory, ideally between 10am - 6pm

Wednesday 31 July 
o    Stage 5: Share Story
o    60 minute panel talk & Q&A with Dr. Rahman at 3FA, followed by drinks and networking
o    Mandatory, 5pm – 8pm

FAQs

MY INVOLVEMENT
•    What if I can’t make one of the mandatory dates?
Unfortunately, due to the quick turn around of the experiment and our expert’s schedule, all mandatory dates are fixed and must be carried out in person. If you can’t make one of these, sadly we would not be able to consider you for the programme.

•    Do I need to change my schedule?
Aside the mandatory dates, this is a flexible plan that allows for the realities of your busy daily routine. 

•    Will I need to prepare a presentation for the panel talk?
No, you will be briefed fully by the moderator in advance so you know what questions to expect, then just turn up and share your experience in front of an audience. 

MY PLAN
•    Do I need to change my diet?
This is a nutrition programme, not a restrictive diet plan. Some days there will be recipes for you to try, alongside eating out options and a range of food groups to incorporate.

•    Who will provide the food for the plan?
You will be expected to provide the relevant ingredients and foods, however we will guide you to relevant supermarkets and eateries close to Broadgate to make it as easy as possible for you.

•    Will I need to cook all the food?
There will be an element of home cooking for those with a moderate level of skill. The plan will provide simple recipe suggestions, food groups to incorporate into your regular diet and local meal and eating out options.

•    What if I have food allergies and dietary restrictions?
No problem, just let us know at the beginning and we will incorporate it into your plan.

•    Will I be able to drink alcohol?
Your alcohol consumption will be at your discretion, but we would advise for maximum gains to keep it at a minimum throughout the experiment. 

MY HEALTH & FITNESS
•    What if I am on medication, or have a pre-existing medical condition?
If you let us know as soon as possible we will try our very best to accommodate the plan around it. 

•    Do I need to be at a certain level of fitness? 
No, as it is not a physical programme and therefore suited to any fitness level.

•    Do I need to track my performance using wearables?
It’s not essential for you to wear a fitness tracker as part of the official experiment, but feel free to continue to use one if you currently do so.

•    Will there be any side effects from the tests?
No, the tests will be simple written and interview tests performed whilst wearing a non-invasive headset.

MY SUPPORT
•    Will I be supported throughout the 10 days?
Yes, details of your primary contact are provided at the bottom for you to reach out to throughout the activity. Additionally, you will have a mid-point call with the nutritionist for any specific questions relating to the plan.

•    What if I need to unexpectedly pull out of the programme?
You will be asked to sign an agreement of commitment at the beginning, however we realise things can also occur outside of your control. If this happens, please let us know as soon as possible for us to review on a case-by-case basis and find a possible solution.
