Here at Broadgate, we take mental health seriously. We have hosted and continue to programme events which focus on helping you look after your mental wellbeing, from inspiring talks and weekly mid-week meditation sessions, workshops, panels and more. We’re continuing our support with Wellbeing Wednesdays, a monthly drop in session run by Broadgate’s inhouse mental health first aiders, on the last Wednesday of every month at The Space | 3FA.
The sessions are designed to allow you to have some one-on-one time with a non-judgemental, friendly face who is qualified to guide and signpost you towards appropriate sources of help. The drop-in sessions are open to everyone who works at Broadgate, whether you’re seeking services in your area or simply want someone to speak to who isn’t your friend, family or colleague.
Each monthly drop in session will focus on a key topic, however, don’t let this put you off, our first aiders welcome all conversations about your mental health, even if it’s something not listed below:
- 31 July – General mental health awareness
- 28 August – Movement and healthy eating
- 25 September – Suicide
- 30 October – World mental health awareness
- 27 November – National stress and alcohol awareness
- 18 December – Anger and health eating (note this date has been bought forward due to the Christmas holidays)
The drop in sessions will run 12-2pm on the last Wednesday of each month.

We will no longer be running the 2 hour drop in sessions in the Space in 2020 however if you would like to talk in confidence to a Mental Health First Aider simply email us on the contact us tab and one of our 18 Mental Health First Aiders will get back to you as soon as possible.
Please note, our mental health first aiders are unable to provide counselling services but can point you in the direction of appropriate help. This service is confidential.
