For many of us, September and October are synonymous with the start of a new year - that back-to-school feeling of possibility. So we’ve put together three very simple ways to boost your mind, body and health this autumn at Broadgate:
1. Revamp your lunch
Stuck in a rut of supermarket sarnies? Give your lunch some love with HiLo’s brilliant superfood SaladPots and HotPots. From the brains behind Chop’d, HiLo at Broadgate Circle (opposite Beany Green) has been designed to help office-bound workers eat better, affordably and sustainably. Their pots last for three days so can be stashed in office fridge for mid-afternoon and late-night snacks.
With flavours inspired by multi-cultural London (think punchy Jerk and fragrant Asian tasting notes) and created to give a balanced, nutritious meal that also contributes to your five-a-day, it’s a lunch that’ll make you feel good (in ways a sad tuna mayo won’t).
2. Sign up for some morning (or evening) yoga
The Theatre Deli’s studio is now open offering, hour-long yoga classes on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7.15am, 8.30am, 6.15pm and 7.30pm to fit around your working day (hallelujah!). Stretch, rejuvenate and restore with their inspiring (and very friendly) teachers then hit the cafe for herbal tea with your special 10% discount.
3. Make your brain think in a totally new way
As part of our Shaped By Design season for autumn, we’re hosting a series of free lunchtime talks and evening workshops which explore how design can impact the way we think, work and live. From discovering how to problem-solve the cities around us and applying ‘design thinking’ to business to creating a truly collaborative team, prepare to unleash the creative side of your brain and solve even the most practical of problems.
Happy body, mind and soul-boosting!
