Mother’s Day is coming. And we’ve got a whole host of good ideas to make the weekend of Sunday 26 March that little bit special.
1. Book a table now
Bottomless brunch: two words that any mother wants to hear. And thankfully, Broadgate’s acclaimed foodie destinations definitely embrace the leisurely brunch. All Bar One serves breakfast until noon from Monday to Friday and until 1pm on Saturday. Enjoy a bottomless brunch from just £20 per person including Eggs Benedict, Buttermilk Pancakes and Handmade Beef Burgers plus unlimited Prosecco, Mimosa or Bloody Marys.
Head to the elegant Aubaine at Broadgate Circle for unlimited brunch on both Saturday and Sunday for £15 (and for an extra £15 receive unlimited white or red wine or Prosecco) meanwhile, Gaucho is offering a Mother’s Day Chandon Bellini from 12pm on Sunday 26 March with all meals.
And, finally, if you’re eating later in the day, may we suggest Comptoir’s delicious Lebanese feast featuring their signature mezze, salad and grills from £14.95 for two courses or £18.95 for three. Enjoy!
2. See something different
Post-brunch or pre-lunch, explore the world of Broadgate’s art. As part of our new Urban Eden season, we’re hosting five new exciting exhibitions of photography, sculpture and drawing that have been inspired by nature. From The Sheltering Five’s fascinating structures in the lobby of Exchange House to the Green Space giant cubes in Finsbury Avenue Square, this is an art trail to enhance your day together.
3. Get a gift she’ll really appreciate
Broadgate is a hub of brilliant shopping: for chocolate that comes in the divinest of boxes, head to Charbonnel et Walker in Finsbury Avenue Square or take inspiration from Space NK’s beautiful gift department. Uncorked is a great place to find a special bottle of wine or fizz that suits every recipient with helpful assistants with amazing knowledge.
Also, pop into the Prince’s Trust Tomorrow’s Store on Eldon Street which features brilliant, offbeat and beautiful jewellery, interiors and more from innovative young people; they also have an excellent selection of cards...
