Where to book your Christmas party in London

Been tasked with the tricky job of finding (and booking) the work Christmas party this year? On the search for inspired festive menus? Well, we've done the heavy lifting for you with some of London’s coolest, most elegant and original dining spots (with a couple of traditional crowd-pleasers thrown in).

Now all you need to do is email your colleagues for their menu choices (good luck with that...).  

The classic choice
Aubaine, Broadgate Circle

The best thing about Aubaine is it covers everyone’s eclectic tastes with beautifully sourced seasonal menus, classic dishes and Insta-friendly plates. For Christmas, their sample menu is a mix of welcome canapes including salmon blinis and French goat’s cheese and slow roasted tomato on a sesame seed biscuit with sweet tomato chutney and mains that run from pan-fried sea bass, crushed celeriac, broccoli, brown butter and capers to roast turkey ballotine wrapped in Alsace bacon, red wine and cranberry sauce.

The foodie choice
Jose Pizarro, Broadgate Circle

With special festive menus from 1 November to 31 January, Jose Pizarro is a joyous mix of Basque influence and seasonal dishes. Choose from tapas (£25 a head) featuring delicious chorizo cooked in Rioja wine and quince, roasted red pepper, tomato and thyme with desserts including Milhoja of berries and Rum creamplus Turron mousse and caramelised almonds. Or go for the festive menu (£39.50 a head) which features Bacalao al pil pil and white asparagus plus stewed Iberian pork cheeks and pumpkin.

The Italian feast
Piccolino, Exchange Square

Available from 22 November to 24 December, Piccolino’s festive menu is a celebration of Italian food and wine. Risotto funghi, turkey saltimbocca and bistecca are just some of the incredible mains with menus with a dessert menu of torta di clementine and formaggi to name a few… Buon natale.

The fun night out
Tank & Paddle, Bishopsgate

Effortlesly get the party started with pizza and beer courtesy of the good vibes at Tank & Paddle. They've got a whole host of festive menus designed with play and sharing in mind: from Doughcember Delights, £16.50pp (savoury sticks, a selection of pizzas and chocolate doughballs) and The Pizza Sleigher, £19.50pp (a selection of pizzas, mac 'n' cheese, savoury sticks and Nutella Doughballs) alongside drinks including Meantime Pale Ale lager (50L/88 pints), £425, and Meantime Yakima red (30L/52 pints), £275 – this is how you do a Christmas party.

Theatre Deli, Finsbury Avenue Square

Thanks to bespoke menus of canapes and sharing boards and full hire of the bar space, Theatre Deli is the perfect destination for work parties that want a less formal vibe and some proper festive cheer.

With menus from £20pp, you can indulge in prosecco, craft beers and wine with canapes of mini brioche buns with roast turkey, cranberry, orange zest and hazelnut crumble with dessert boards of mince pies made at their bakery. And relax…

Double trouble
The White Horse, Exchange Square

The White Horse know how to do winter festivities… With two menus (Christmas share and Christmas feast), plan and tailor your celebrations to suit your team’s personality. Sharing boards from £10 (they’re planned per person) feature everything from English Rose turkey, Brussel tops and cranberry slaw on sourdough toast, pigs in blankets, stuffing, goose fat roasties, gravy, horseradish cream to soft-boiled Scotch egg, sausage roll, hand raised pork pie, crackling, mustard, HP sauce.
