As part of The Winter Forest at Broadgate Circle, Diageo Classic Malts x The Botanist invite you to an incredible evening of Scotch whisky tasting and food pairing.
From 6-8pm on Tuesday 19 November, you can experience an exclusive evening of Scotch whisky inspired by the Classic Malts in collaboration with The Botanist in Broadgate Circle. Through a stimulating talk, Diageo Classic Malts are calling on all Scotch whisky enthusiasts to immerse themselves in this deeper glance at the transformative effect of tastings with food pairings encouraged by adventurous discovery. Tickets are £15.
Looking into new flavours and aromas when matching malts with different food types – offering pairings of cheese, chocolate, cured meats and fish – disconnect with the modern world and reconnect with the elements.
Meet under the pergola in the snowy Winter Forest at Broadgate Circle for a welcome drink before heading into The Botanist for the tasting workshop.
More about Diageo Classic Malts
“Welcome to a unique collection, in which we present many of Scotland’s finest, most famous and richly storied Single Malt Scotch Whiskies. Every single whisky has a character as rich and complex as its history and as natural as the land from which it comes.
They cling to the side of mountains, nestle in lush valley bottoms, and brave the elements on the shores of islands and hidden coves. But Scotch distilleries all have one thing in common: outstanding craft and single malt whisky.
Let us take you on a tasting journey to the distilleries and show you their world, with a guide for connoisseurs and novices alike, through the what, why and how of Scotch whisky.”
