How is Broadgate affected by the Covid-19 outbreak?

Following government guidance, more of our colleagues and businesses are beginning to return and reopen, and some of our cafes and restaurants are offering a click & collect or delivery service. Click here to find out more.

Your safety is our number one priority so you might notice extra measures in place when you next visit. These include:

Hand sanitising stations will be installed at all entry and exit points within our buildings.

Key touchpoints and shared areas will be disinfected on an hourly basis or after a personnel change and deep cleaned using anti-viral products every third weekend.

Wherever possible, we’ll implement a ‘zero touch’ journey through entrances and exits, walkways, corridors and lifts.

We’ll implement clear signage and floor markings throughout our buildings to help maintain social distancing. We will also introduce one-way flow systems at entry and exit points, staircases and corridors.

We’ll do our best to create areas outside our buildings for people to eat their lunch, whilst keeping a two-metre distance from others.

We’re reconfiguring our shared spaces, such as the seating and tables in our reception areas, to maintain a two-metre distance and reduce face-to-face interactions.

Lift occupancy numbers will be reduced, and we’ll implement signage explaining good ‘lift etiquette’.

To facilitate increased bicycle use, additional bicycle parking facilities will be installed across our campuses.

Our Broadgate team have all been provided with suitable PPE such as masks and gloves to help them carry out their roles safely. We’re also continuing with our enhanced cleaning regimes, including regular cleaning of key touchpoints throughout each day.

To help us to keep you safe, we ask that you stay at home if you feel unwell, always maintain a distance of two metres from others, wash hands regularly and make use of our hand sanitiser.

Are the public toilets open?

No, these facilities remain closed at this time.

Can we use the public spaces?

As ever, our neighbourhood remains open. We do request that you maintain the 2 metre social distancing wherever possible, including in our public spaces and walkways.

No public events or street food vendors are scheduled on-site until further notice.

There is no on-street parking in or around Broadgate, however a public car park is available underneath Broadwalk House (EC2A 2EW). Please click here for further information and rates.

I’ve had something posted to my office. Am I able to collect it?

Our buildings remain open, but please observe government guidance and travel only where essential.

What cycle storage is available?

There are a number of places to leave your bikes in and around the Broadgate neighbourhood, including extra temporary provisions around Exchange Square and in Sun Street. There is also a Brompton Bike locker in Sun Street Passage.

What are the nearest transport links?

Broadgate is a short walk from Liverpool Street & Moorgate Stations, and a ten-minute walk from Shoreditch High Street Overground. Please bear in mind that the stations will also be taking extra precautions at this time. Please visit https://tfl.gov.uk/ to plan your journey.

If you are arriving into Liverpool Street Station, the exit to the fulcrum and into Broadgate Circle is now open again.

Will the big screen be returning to Exchange Square this summer?

The big screen will not return this year and no public events are scheduled on-site until further notice.

Why have the ping pong tables been removed?

The ping pong table have been temporarily removed and will be re-installed at a later date.

How do I get in contact with the bars and restaurants at Broadgate?

The ice rink at Broadgate was a seasonal installation that closed for the last time in 2016. There are currently no plans for it to return.
